Product Description

This kit will lift the body of the chassis by 2" or 50mm!

A body lift is very useful for making clearance for fitting larger tyres to your jimny, basically you remove the old nuts holding the body to the chassis, jack the body up so you can get the spacer blocks under the bolts on the body, then bolt back together with the new sleeved bolts in the kit!

This is a fully bolt on kit, so there is no need to do any cutting drilling etc!

The sleeved bolts are clear zinc plated, so you know they won't rust!

The kit includes the following :-

8 nylon spacer blocks

4 zinc plated M10 sleeve bolts

2 zinc plated M12 sleeve bolts

2 Long metric fine bolts for under the headlights

Brake union spacer plate and bolts

In this kit longer brake hoses and steering spacers are recommended

Here are some photos of whats involved in the bodylift. (note they are the old Aluminuim spacers)

MY 2 INCH LIFTReview by Roland Bonet Riba
"A lot more work than I originally thought to fit a body lift, particularly if body mounts are corroded and seized, also can be a pain the fit the steering spacers, you need to pre-soak everything with penetrating oil weeks before and make sure the mounts will crack off OK. That being said - this is a quality bit of kit and I just love the effect, it must be the nylon blocks that vastly improve the ride, absorbing the normal crashiness, the ride is greatly softened and it feels more than 2 inches. Very happy with the outcome and great quick delivery from Russ as ever, now looking forward to fitting a 2 inch suspension lift and will have the ideal on-road and off-road setup combination."
