The Trail-Safe™ seal lip is fully supported by a garter spring applying constant pressure over the entire 360º circumference. This prevents deflection gaps and stops oil bypassing the seal. A secondary outer lip provides an extra barrier against dirt and contaminants. Combined with a fully rubber-coated outer diameter, the seal forms a complete static surface seal for zero leaks. An integrated flange prevents the seal from being pressed too far into the housing.
