Payment I accept payments by Debit / Credit Cards, Paypal, Postal Orders, Cash sent insured, Cheques, or direct bank transfer)

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties

UK Postage Most small items will be sent via royal mail, but most of the heavy items will be sent via DHL /UPS cut of time for shipping is 1pm on the day of order

All Trailmaster parts are held in stock in Germany, so can't be sent on a next day service as they have to come from Germany first then sent to the customer (normally (3-6 days)

All AVO Shocks are built to order and can take between 3 days to 4 weeks depending on AVO's production schedule

Overseas Postage Most small items will be sent via royal mail international signed for but most will be sent via DHL and all import duties and taxes are the customers responsibility as if you live outside the UK then your order will be liable to import duties and taxes on arrival, its the customers responsibility to pay these fees and DHL charge a handling fee also (rates available from DHL.com). Refusal to pay these fee's will result the parcel being returned to us and we will deduct the outgoing and return shipping fee's from any refund. Orders to the EU, we will collect any duties and taxes here in the UK and DHL will pay the fee's for you so when you order the price you see is the price to your door with no extra costs. This applies only to EU member states.

We use paypal as our payment processor and the website only accepts GBP currency, the website will allow you to change your currency but this is for guidance only (rates update every 24 hours), when you checkout you will be shown the GBP amount and this is what will be charged to your card, sometimes exchange rates can make this go up or down very slightly so please be aware.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel an order you must inform us in writing as soon as possible by sending a helpdesk ticket Subject heading of “Order Cancellation”. 

Please include your Order ID number in this email.

If we receive your order cancellation instruction before we have dispatched the goods to you, you shall be entitled to a full refund of the total order price minus the transaction fee we have incurred when we processed your payment. This transaction fee is typically around 3% of the total order price, though this figure is subject to change without notice and we cannot guarantee what this figure will be prior to receiving any individual order. The refund payment will be made in accordance with the Refunds section below.

If we receive your order cancellation after we have dispatched your goods to you, then you may no longer cancel your order. However, you are entitled to return the goods to us in accordance with the Returns section below.

General

Products that modify your 4x4 are designed for off-road use only www.jimnybits.com (trading name of RLP engineering LTD) will not be held liable for any loss or personal injury, immediate or consequential arising from the fitment of offroad modifications purchased from this online store. You should be aware that these products may affect the handling of your vehicle and you should modify your driving technique appropriately. It is advisable to periodically check that all nuts and bolts, etc are tight and secure. When modifying 4x4's eg fitting larger tyres, bigger lifts etc this can cause more strain on the standard components, which they were not designed for so more wear and tear / breakages can happen. Modifying your vehicle could create dangerous conditions which can cause serious injury or death, buyers and users of products from this store accept all risks associated with modifications and use.

Please ensure when your order arrives you check it thats its complete, so problems don't arise when going to fit / have parts fitted by a 3rd party. Jimnybits will not cover any labour costs incurred in diagnosis of defects, removal or reinstallation of a product, nor does it cover any other consequential expenses due to missing parts or incorrect parts.

We reserve the right to alter without prior notice any content found within this website. If we change our Terms and Conditions, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information has changed. By using the site after any such revision you agree to be bound by such changes. The manufacturer reserves the right to make component changes without notification. Although we attempt to accurately reflect all products displayed, images and specifications may differ from purchased products and should be used as a guide only. Specifications may also differ between countries. The information on this website is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:

excludes all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents or which is or may be provided by any affiliates or any other third party, including in relation to any inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/or the Company’s literature; and
excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in the normal course of things or you have advised this Company of the possibility of such potential loss), damage caused to your computer, computer software, systems and programs and the data thereon or any other direct or indirect, consequential and incidental damages.
NB. The above exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. None of your statutory rights as a consumer are affected.

When owning and driving a modified vehicle, the following points should be noted:

It is the owner’s responsibility to have all bolts/nuts checked for tightness after the first 50 miles and then every 1000 miles.
Wheel alignment, steering system, suspension and driveline systems must be inspected by a qualified professional mechanic at least every 3000 miles.
It is strongly advised you notify your Motor Insurance Company of the modifications to your vehicle.
A small number of the parts or accessories we have available may not be legal to use on the Public Highway within the UK and certain EU Countries, and are sold for show and off road only.
If you have any doubt concerning the use of parts fitted to your vehicle, including 'Frontal Protection Regulations' (noted below) please contact us for further information.
By using your vehicle on the Public Highway you have accepted any potential risk, and excludes all liability now, or in the in the future, for Jimnybits.
It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to ascertain whether products being purchased, or the fitting of those products to your or any vehicle comply with regulations.

FRONTAL PROTECTION REGULATION
It is the customers responsibility to ensure parts ordered from this site may  fall under these regulations These parts should not be fitted to your vehicle for use on a public highway. When fitted it is illegal to use your vehicle on the public highway (reference the regulations came into force on May 25th 2007).

We do not sell these parts for public highway use in the UK or EU, and they should ONLY be fitted for OFF ROAD USE. Failure to comply may result in legal prosecution and could invalidate your insurance cover. Please do your own research on this regulation and exemptions from this regulation

There are some products that carry a Lifetime Warranty; this will be clearly stated online. Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects and breakage during normal use, for as long as you own the vehicle. Does not include paint finish. All warranties are applies to the original purchaser and are not transferable to subsequent owners of the product. The warranty period commences on the purchase date of the product. Jimnybits warrants that it will repair or replace, free of charge, any eligible product which, under normal conditions of use and service, suffers breakage or proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover any labour costs incurred in diagnosis of defects, removal or reinstallation of a product, nor does it cover any other consequential expenses. Lifetime warranty is valid for 1 claim only per SKU.


Warranty Exclusions


Jimnybits warranty does not cover, and Jimnybits shall not be liable for, any undertaking, representation, or agreements made by dealers or other third parties selling products from this website, except where such agreements are within the provisions of this Warranty.
Specifically excluded from this warranty are failures caused by lack of maintenance, misuse, negligence, modification, abuse, improper application, crash damage, installation or operation, or failures caused by unauthorised service or use of unauthorised parts.
All parts used in a competitive racing environment are excluded from this warranty. If, after inspection, a part returned, under any warranty, is deemed to be ineligible for warranty repair or replacement, the part may be repaired or replaced for a discounted cost. Return shipping charges will apply. All products unless stated seporatly on this website will come with a standard 12 month warranty, and are non transferable (only valid to the orignal purchaser) Paint finish - due to the nature of 4x4 parts all products carry a 90 day paint and finish warranty, and claims for paint or corrosion after 90 days will not be valid. Return shipping charges will apply. Any part for which a warranty replacement is sought must be returned to jimnybits before any replacement items can be shipped. All replacement parts shipped before the suspect part has been received and evaluated by Jimnybits, MUST BE PAID IN FULL. In such a case, after the suspect part has been received and approved for a warranty replacement, the purchase price for the replacement will be refunded.
